The screen is raised up on an angle so when reading the numbers, it is easier and more convenient. In fact, Hello Kitty and the teddy bear peeking right over the edge of the screen. The buttons are in purple and 2 shades of pink and take the shapes of hearts, flower, squares and bow ties. In addition to the ON button on front of the calculator, there's another one on the side. This requires 1 AA battery in order to use it. It has a big display screen and hopefully this will prevent you from getting a headache when doing too much math!
